Tucked into the hillside in Old Skala, Villa Ambelonas looks out across the Ionian Sea. A private pool, sunny terraces and three sea-view ensuite bedrooms give you space to settle in and feel at home. Peaceful and not overlooked, it's a little corner of the island to make your own.
Skala's beaches and tavernas are a short drive away. But some days, the nicest plan is no plan at all.

We fell in love.
Before we even
stepped inside.
The first time we visited Ambelonas, the estate agent didn't have the key. So we spent twenty minutes waiting beside the pool, taking in the views and enjoying the peace.
And that was it. Before we'd even seen inside, we knew.
It's why we made Ambelonas ours, and why we now share it with others. We hope you'll love it here as much as we do.

02 / Listen a little closer
A different kind of soundtrack.
When the wind picks up, we can hear the sea at Skala, a mile away. More often, it's the music of goat and sheep bells drifting across the hillside. Between the bells, you might catch the croak of a raven.
03 / Keep an eye on the valley
A little room for wonder.
For bird lovers, the patio is a place to linger. We've watched buzzards, black vultures and lanner falcons here. Seeing a falcon come up the valley at eye level still takes Rob's breath away. And we love watching the swifts swoop down to drink from the pool.
